Maybo Trainer Survey - The Results

Those of you who responded to our survey, issued at the beginning of this year, provided us with some very useful feedback, so thank you for taking the time to complete it.

We received some really positive comments indicating you believe Maybo to be a market leader in conflict management and physical intervention training and that we should continue with our development work in these areas.

Whilst price is often a concern it did not rank highly when we asked you to put things in order of importance. Quality assurance and access to resources, learning new techniques and customer feedback all ranked more importantly than price, hopefully a reflection that Maybo products are high quality and good value for money.

We asked for your thoughts on recertification events and had an interesting mix of responses. It appears that many of you would like to see guest inputs and that most would welcome the opportunity to learn new techniques rather than only refreshing existing ones. As continuity of training and delivery were also issues raised, we are looking at the format of recertification courses and how we can offer “added value” for these events. See the Recert Revamp article in our August Newsletter.

Quality and feedback are important to many of you and Maybo has already taken positive action to introduce more trainer support visits.  Many of our clients have been contacted with a view to arranging visits and several trainers have had observation sessions. All trainer support visits are intended to benefit both the trainer and Maybo. Not only do they provide Maybo with an opportunity to confirm quality and compliance, but they offer trainers an ideal opportunity to gain valuable feedback, training tips and advice from a Maybo Lead Trainer.

Resources are an issue which many of you raised and we are rolling out the provision of USB sticks loaded with our new training presentations. As these new presentations include updates to core techniques, Trainers need to be updated at recertification before they can be issued with the new resources.

Many of these changes are in place or in the process of being introduced and we will continue to develop our programmes, supporting materials and update our processes. We hope you will continue to support Maybo and benefit from delivering our leading CM and PI programmes.
