Maybo sponosrs Skills for Security CPD workshop for security trainers

Maybo is proud to be sponsoring Skills for Security's next free Trainers' Workshop Day on Friday 22nd June, 10.15am to 3.15pm in Worcester.

The programme includes an update from the SIA, Bill Fox from Maybo talking about the roll-out of PI training for all Door Supervisors and a presentation from City & Guilds on the new assessor qualifications. Please click here to see the agenda for the day.

The feedback from last year showed that trainers would prefer longer taster sessions, so this year there will be a choice of two out of three workshops on trainer training, each lasting for 30 minutes; Paediatric First Aid, RIPA and Evidence and Vetting Skills.

The day will end with a workshop for all on Drugs Awareness by West Mercia Police, focusing on the new challenges for Door Supervisors and Security Officers who are required to search for drugs and deal with drug-related incidents. This will enable trainers to pass on the latest information to their learners.

Book now using the downloadable form and email it to info@skillsforsecurity.org.uk. We look forward to seeing you on 22nd June.
