This year's NSI Summit will feature a masterclass led by Maybo's Bill Fox on the role of personal equipment in the prevention and management of workplace violence.

Synopsis

Bill is actively involved in the development of national guidance for employers in violence reduction strategies. This presentation will focus on one aspect of this, which is the role and contribution of personal equipment in the prevention and management of violence. It will explore the types of equipment available from clothing to 'body cams' and restraints, and offer key considerations for employers when making decisions on purchase and issue.

Speaker Profile

Bill Fox, Chairman and Founder, Maybo Ltd.

Bill is a specialist in the prevention and management of conflict and challenging behaviour. He understands the role of security professionals and has advised the SIA, NHS and awarding organisations on competencies, qualifications and employer guidance. He has worked extensively in challenging sectors such as licensed retail, events, and hospitals. Bill is currently involved in two national projects addressing violence risks and developing guidance for employers in the retail sector, and for wider security functions. He is the founder and chairman of Maybo.
