Behaviour Management: Only 1 in 5 teachers say initial training was good or very good

The NFER Teacher Voice Omnibus Survey, recently published by DfE, includes some good news to be celebrated – teachers are saying that behaviour is generally good. More teachers are saying this than 4 years ago and most feel well equipped to manage pupil behaviour. However, lower numbers of teachers are saying that appropriate training is available, and only 1/5 said their initial teacher training on behaviour management had been good or very good.
