A Trauma Informed Approach to Positive Behaviour Support - Maybo Hosting Progressive Seminar

Leader in conflict management training, Maybo, has joined forces with Bob Bowen, CEO of Mandt and internationally known presenter and author to offer an enlightening, interactive workshop - A Trauma Informed Approach to Positive Behaviour Support. This leading edge seminar is for those caring for people whose behaviours pose complex challenges to systems of support and services.

Bob is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Centre in Rochester, New York and has over 30 years of experience in direct support, case management, administrative and consultative positions. He offers an illuminating approach to trauma and its effects on the neurodevelopment of children into adulthood.

Using his own experience and case examples, Bob will demonstrate how people use behaviour to cope with their traumatic experiences and how these coping mechanisms become behavioural challenges throughout a person's life. The presented neurodevelopmental model was developed by Bruce Perry, MD, Ph.D., and is used with his permission.

The seminar takes place on 17th May in Denham, Berkshire. Places are limites and pre booking is required (£95.00 Plus VAT).
