Maybo Australia goes from strength to strength

To spread the benefits of its leading conflict management training, Maybo opened an office in South Australia. The training model has travelled well, exceeding expectations and the Company now employs four people who train across the country.  Managing Director, Neil Warwick reports on recent developments.

"The pattern of business has generally followed the UK market with the health, care and security sectors becoming more pronounced."

"One area of opportunity is the work we are doing in aged care.  In an exciting project the Illawarra Retirement Trust (IRT) will be rolling out the Maybo conflict management and assault avoidance training, to staff who have over 6,000 people under their care. This work will be the subject of research  work with Professor Richard Fleming from the dementia study unit at Wollongong University."

New Sydney office

"To take advantage of the bigger population in New South Wales and to be closer to other parts of the Eastern states such as Queensland and Victoria, we opened a second office in Sydney."

Maybo Executive Chairman, Bill Fox offers regular support to the international business and also shares details of work he is doing on UK projects, such as work with the NHS and SIA and their Australian counterparts. These organisations are keen to learn and communicate their own experiences, allowing Maybo to build relationships and work with others too on both sides of the world to develop and continually improve the training on offer to resolve conflict in the workplace.
