Which qualifications are available following Maybo training?
The Maybo programme is available to all SIA approved awarding bodies and their centres. This covers City & Guilds, Edexcel, NOCN, BIIAB and others.

Why do most trainers use Maybo physical intervention training for security?
The Maybo trainer and delegate resources are the most comprehensive and highest quality available. In addition our centres and clients benefit from:
- Maybo is the preferred choice of more venue operators and security and door supervision employers than any other model, it’s the name your customers will recognise
- Maybo is not only the leading training provider, we advise employers on all aspects of policy and strategy to support training in this area of risk and provide the tools
- The expert witness experience on use of force matters and violence risk management within Maybo
- As the leading UK provider Maybo provides the greatest range of dates and locations for easy access to trainer courses and refresher training
How will tutors attain the level 3 qualification with Maybo?
1. New Maybo trainers: The new qualification will be integrated within the Maybo PI 5 day tutor training course as soon as the qualification becomes available.
2. Existing Maybo trainers: Trainers that have already trained with Maybo and who hold current Skills for Security PI Tutor certification can deliver the level 2 unit of qualification because the course they have already completed is an approved equivalent to the level 3 unit of qualification. These Maybo trainers can apply for the level 3 unit of qualification certificate if they wish (or, if in future the regulator requires it) without having to attend another train the trainer course.
